Following this session, you will be able to work more confidently with children with developmental delays, literacy deficits, and behavioral challenges, and will be better able to engage families and community providers with greater success. This workshop presents proven techniques for helping children to catch-up with age-linked developmental and grade-level outcomes when delays are evident. Damaged in the Womb examines , nutritional, cultural, and economical factors, including” food deserts”, which lead to deficits in prenatal and continued development, and offers hands-on, real world solutions to working with staff and parents to maximize opportunities for children to reach important developmental and literacy milestones.
