Following this session, you will be able to work more confidently with children with developmental delays, literacy deficits, and behavioral challenges, and will be better able to engage families and community providers with greater success. This workshop presents proven techniques for helping children to catch-up with age-linked developmental and grade-level outcomes when delays are evident. Damaged in the Womb examines , nutritional, cultural, and economical factors, including” food deserts”, which lead to deficits in prenatal and continued development, and offers hands-on, real world solutions to working with staff and parents to maximize opportunities for children to reach important developmental and literacy milestones. Refunds will be provided within 30 days of cancellation. Material costs and participant fees of $5.00 will be deducted from the refund if cancellation is not provided within 48 hours of the scheduled training.
