BKC-EC Module 8: Interactions with Children (E-2012-0008-0379)
Sat June 16, 2012 9:00 AM
Building relationships with children is not a one-size-fits-all process. Learn how to communicate trust and concern for all children through the power of positive interactions. Discover how to interact with children in ways that make every moment count. Learn the benefits children receive through positive relationships, and all the ways nonverbal children develop a trusting and caring relationship with adults.
Registration information
You can reserve your space in the training by registering online once you have created an account. You must then print off the registration form, completing the information and mailing it in with your payment.
Please note receiving payment is what secures your space in the training. Full payment is due no later than 6/14/2012.
All sessions count towards Department of Health and Senior Services annual training requirements. Certificates will be handed out before you leave. The Section for Child Care Regulation policy requires that participants attend the entire training in order to receive a certificate. As a result, participants who arrive late or leave early may not be provided a certificate. Please consider this policy as you plan for the event.
Contact Child Care Aware of Western Missouri no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the session and a coupon will be awarded to be used on another session. No coupons or refunds will be issued to no shows or those arriving more than 15 minutes after the start of the session. There is a minimum number of participants required to hold a session. If that minimum is not met, the session will be rescheduled and participants will be notified.
